What a great game! It was touch & go there for a while but the Titans pulled through and beat last years’ superbowl winners-the Saints.
Fans were given a Titans catalog that had a cool magnet on the top, with the NFL schedule for 2010. Here is a shot of that:
Plus there were of course cheerleaders. Here they are hamming it up for the camera:
And even T-Rex (the mascot) got into the dancing…
We were on TV, too…
And of course, lets not forget why we came here tonight-football!
I want his job! He gets to run around the field every time we get a touchdown…
What a great night! It was hot, not all the seats were filled, and it was just a preseason game….but we WON! Woohoo!
Look out Nashville, the Titans are loaded for bear!
Tonight’s game, Titans vs Saints, will end our pre-season home games. Will last years superbowl winners, the New Orleans Saints, be ready to take on our hometown team?
Stay tuned for photos and comments later tonight!
Country vocal duo, Steel Magnolia, was spotted last night in downtown Nashville. The local songbirds, Meghan Linsey & Joshua Scott Jones; just nominated today as ‘Vocal Duo of the Year’ by the 44th Annual CMA Awards, stopped in at The Riverfront Bar & Grill for happy hour with friends.
They were kind enough to pose for photos and chatted with patrons before leaving.
Currently on the Brad Paisley ‘H2O Tour’, the duo has an EP available online and the full album will drop on 1-11-11. They are also on the same label as Taylor Swift-Big Machine Records.
You never know who you will run into while hanging out in downtown Nashville!

Last night the Titans played the Cardinals in a pre-season game. Titans stomped out of LP Field with a 24-10 win! But the most amazing part of the game was not on the field.
This kid in the stands was having a great night. Him and a buddy decided to sneak up front during the 4th quarter and he was having the time of his life.
Every time any music played-he was out of his seat and boogieing the night away!
Check out his moves:
As you can tell, the kid was having a blast!
I think the cheerleaders were worried about their jobs.
Tonight is our first home game! LP Field will be buzzing with excitement and tons of fans.
Even though its a pre-season game, its still a football game at home. And its Monday!
Let’s go Titans!
They said it wouldn’t happen but some of us had faith in Mother Nature.
Here is the proof…
Printers Alley is looking a little more Christmasy (a tad late):

Cars are being dusted in the white stuff and it looks like more is on the way…

After spending the holiday with family in Alabama, we rushed back to Nashville to watch the Titans lose yet another game. It was cold, very cold. And we lost the chance for a wild card place. Merry Christmas.
Did I mention that it was cold?

Cheerleaders looked cold…

But there was Cotton Candy…

And we lost on National TV…

Chargers vs Titans…the last hurrah.

Yeah, that’s what I said…snow! The weather guru’s in Nashville are saying we might get some frozen wet stuff on Thanksgiving. Woohoo!
Remember last year? We got more than a dusting and it was wonderful. I got a few shots of it and am sharing some of them here. Enjoy!

Oh and Happy Thanksgiving!

Now don’t forget to run out and buy some bread and milk. It’s the law.
Yes, I was wondering that myself! Good thing our kitten, Sushi, was able to show us what it looks like.
Here she is caught in the act:
I didn’t do it!
Oh, look! TP to play with…
What TP? I don’t see no stinkin TP…
The trail of evidence…
Our lesson today? Leave the bathroom door closed when you have an over active kitten.
I went to see the taping of Good Morning American yesterday, here in Nashville. They were promoting the CMA Awards and Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley played because they are hosting the event tonight at the Sommet Center.
Carrie showed up in huge sunglasses and a knit bunny hat for her first set. Then she complained and yawned the whole time she was doing the warm up set. Seems miss thang isn’t a morning person! I don’t blaim her, I was up at 4AM to cover the show and it wasn’t a pretty sight.
Here are some photos from the show, enjoy!
